This tour includes one-way or round-trip transportation to and/or from various mountain trailheads in Japan, but does not include guides or staff during the hike. Mainichi Alpen-go is operated by Maitabi® / The Mainichi Shimbun Travel (Mainichi Kikaku Service Co., Ltd.)

🎒 What is Mainichi Alpen-go? Mainichi Alpen-go is a regulated domestic travel product under Japanese law, offered as a Subscription Type Organized Tour Contract (Boshugata Kikaku Ryokō Keiyaku). This means it is a pre-arranged tour with a fixed itinerary, fixed price, and inclusive services such as bus transportation to, from, or both ways to various mountain trailheads in Japan—depending on the selected plan. The tour is: Operated by Mainichi Shimbun Travel / Mainichi Kikaku Service Co., Ltd. Subject to minimum participant requirements; if not met, the tour may be canceled. Different from a highway bus service—cancellation fees apply depending on timing. Designed for independent hikers—no guides or conductors are included. Participants are expected to hike at their own responsibility, using their own plans and equipment.
